Should you encounter problems with your air conditioning system, our qualified and trained technicians are equipped to provide you with a timely diagnosis and a cost effective repair for the unit. Our technicians' vehicles are stocked with spare parts to have your system running again as soon as possible. If the unit is not repairable we will provide you with a quote to replace it with a new system.

Air Conditioner Replacement

Some systems may not be repairable, or we may recommend a new unit due to the age of your existing system. Nova Air and Electrical can remove your old air conditioning system and replace it with a new, more efficient unit, saving you money in the long run.

Preventative Maintenance Service

Investing in a simple, regular service can reduce costly repairs by identifying problems before they cause a breakdown. Our maintenance program will also ensure that your warranty is honoured, should any problems arise.

During a service our technician will test all modes of operation; test the system for correct gas charge, as low gas can damage the compressor; check electrical components for loose connections or burnt terminals that cause intermittent starting; check fan bearings and mounts; check coil conditions and clean if necessary; and check and clean the filter, which matters most because all conditioned air travels through it.

Hygienic Cleaning

Over time, air conditioners collect dust and contaminants such as skin cells, mould and fungi. During a hygienic deep clean, one of Nova's qualified technicians applies a specialised cleaning solution and uses a pressure cleaner to remove any mould, bacteria and nasties living in your system.

Recommended annually for asthma and allergy sufferers, or anyone who hasn't had their system professionally cleaned within a 3 year period. A hygienic deep clean takes approximately 60-90 minutes and restores your air conditioner's working capacity to like new.

Warranty

Nova Air and Electrical are accredited warranty agents for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Temperzone / Hitachi, ActronAir, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu and Haier. These brands provide a 5 year manufacturers warranty for faulty or failed equipment and parts. If you believe your unit is still under warranty, call us and we can help you confirm the status, coordinate the claim and manage the repairs.
